Barbara Barran will be appearing at a trunk show at the Newark Museum on Nov. 1. She will be featuring her "Gee's Bend Quilt Collection," in honor of the Newark Museum's "Patchwork: from Folk Art to Fine Art" exhibit. This fantastic show runs from Sept. 13-Dec. 31, 2011. Barbara launched the collection at a Luxury Review show in NYC on Oct. 12. Noted Maine fine artist and children's book author Dahlov Ipcar will appear with Barbara at the Portland Museum of Art in Portland, Maine, on Saturday, Nov. 19. Mrs. Ipcar will sign pillows and rugs from her Dahlov Ipcar Collection, which can be seen and purchased at www.ShopClassicRug.com and at the museum gift store. The museum shop will also have lots of Mrs. Ipcar's books available for signing.
